200 + Attorney law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia is currently searching for a Controller; must be proficient in Aderant, experience with iTimekeep a plus. Responsible for a staff of 12 engaged in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Billing. Direct Reports include Billing Manager, Staff Accountant, Collections Staff, and A/P & A/R. Desire experience with State and Local Tax issues, but not necessary. Responsible for all areas of the monthly closing process (time and billing system) through issuing financial statements for the Executive Committee. Assists with the firm banking, online confirmations, maintains banking relationships and manages overall daily cash positions. Experience is BigHand or other similar Profit / Business Intelligence software is highly desirable. Assists with year-end partner compensation / partner statements as required.
