Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, has an immediate opening for a Billing Rates Coordinator in its Walnut Creek office.  This position works under the direction of the Director of Financial Systems and is responsible for managing and maintaining the complex billing rate structures for all legal staff at the firm. This role requires a strong understanding of law firm billing practices, excellent analytical and communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in billing rate management, be able to navigate the nuances of client agreements and billing guidelines and be proactive about processes automations.  This is a full-time position. Candidate may have flexible options for a hybrid work schedule.

 SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS 

  • A minimum of two (2) years of work experience supporting users in a specialized field relevant to financial data management, ideally in billing and/or rates maintenance. 
  • Demonstrate appropriate working knowledge of accounting systems, practices, controls, and procedures which conform to generally accepted accounting principles.
  •        Computer skills requiring experience with the full Microsoft Office Suite and especially proficient in Excel.  Understanding or use of SQL Server Management Studio is a bonus.
  •       Experience with law firm financial systems such as, but not limited to: Aderant Expert, Chrome River, iTimekeep or Intapp Time, BillBlast or eBillingHub and ARCS.
  •        Ability to communicate and interact with employees with varied backgrounds, skill sets, and levels of responsibility.
  • Highly organized, adept at prioritizing and working under deadline at a fast pace and responding quickly to changing priorities.
  •        Ability to work both independently, with little or no direction, and collaboratively with their team as well as other departments.

 Salary Range - $65,000 - $70,000
