As part of the Finance team, the Senior Financial Systems Lead is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting the firm’s global financial system, Aderant, and other related applications.
Key Responsibilities
The Financial Systems Lead will work with Finance and IT teams to translate business needs into solutions and support our third-party financial applications and manage vendor relationships, including but not limited to, Iridium, Chrome River, Intapp, Workday, and Elegrity. They will lead projects on expanding the functionality of financial systems, design, plan, and implement system upgrades and automated integrations, and communicate any technical issues with financial systems to stakeholders and resolve them promptly. This individual will coordinate with IT to develop training for Finance, attorneys, and legal secretaries across the firm and ensure users know the best practices for financial systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent experience with 5 to 7 years of financial systems experience – preferred Aderant or Elite experience. The candidate will have excellent Microsoft Office skills, financial systems application structure knowledge, and experience implementing integrations between disparate systems. Also, they will understand complex business issues and problem-solving. Candidate should possess strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proactive self-starter working both within the team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
