Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, has an opening for a Risk Management Clerk (Legal Conflicts) in its Oakland, Pittsburgh or Philadelphia office.  Responsibilities include:  Review new files insuring complete information has been entered into the firm database and physically creating new client files; Respond to inquiries from attorneys and staff regarding procedures or status of their matters; Quality control of data entered in the Law Business Management System at the New Matter Intake Step; Set up follow up procedures for missing client/matter information submitted by the billing attorneys; Screen new clients via CapIQ and Hoovers and online searches of web sites; Maintain client and conflict data utilizing current firm software (Intapp OPEN) and perform Intapp conflicts searches as needed; Work with the New Business Intake Committee to insure all required new client information is obtained; Follow up on any queries the Committee member’s note; Monitor and maintain multi-party payer ID's and billing percentages; Work with secretaries/users to insure the billing information entered in LBMS is accurate; Review and process conflict questionnaires for potential new hires and laterals for potential conflicts and general business considerations; Serve as a point of contact for risk management administrative processes for assigned offices; Responsible for matter maintenance, including all updates/revisions to client billing information, verifying rates, attorney percent allocations, conflict waiver, engagement/retainer agreement letters have been completed and that billing guidelines are being followed.  Undertakes all tasks as assigned by Manager(s).

Qualifications include:  Strong organizational and communication skills; Computer skills preferably Intapp OPEN and Aderant; Ability to work independently with little or no supervision; College and work-related experience preferred; Ability to juggle multiple projects and respond quickly to changing priorities, and prior experience working in a law firm Risk or Conflicts Department is a plus.
