As an Accounting Systems Operator you will:

  • Monitor time-cost inquiry mailbox and process requests for time/costs adjustments
  • Administer the Firm’s late time program
  • Review, maintain and process changes to the timekeeper database
  • Maintain client/matter changes and updates
  • Process daily/weekly/monthly cost uploads and create and distribute monthly reports
  • Update client disbursements as needed and scan images
  • Provide back up for client cost charges as requested for billing
  • Process payroll and G/L imports
  • Reconcile G/L suspense account
  • Monitor/Resolve Help Desk tickets assigned to Financial Applications group
  • Update, prepare and distribute month-end reports and special reports upon request

Job Specifications:

  • At least four (4) years of related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Aderant software and automated accounting systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
